We found a Pumpkin Patch!!!

Halloween in England isn't as popular as it is in the USA (yet) and it can be hard to find a pick-your-own pumpkin patch...but we did! We went to 40 Acres Farm (near Portsmouth) on the 23rd and got some fantastic pumpkins, squashes and gourds. We rode to the patch on a wagon pulled by a tractor and it didn't even rain until we got in the car to leave! :)

More Pumpkin Patch...

Colin picked a little pumpkin to take home, and he was also happy to get a sweet dispenser for the ride home--lucky kid!!!

Summer snaps!

Summer was fun, and we loved spending time in the garden in our rental house! We have a plum tree that got tons of fruit (see Colin and his wheelbarrow full), and an apple tree, too. Colin loves to eat fruit (thankfully), and he also love to climb, smile, and er, sleep!

Just more summer fun...

We had a water ban this summer in the south of England, and weren't allowed to use the hose in the garden, so when it rained we caught water in buckets, pools, and even Colin's potty seat! Colin loves to have fun indoors, and out!

Silly Summer Shots!

We played around the house most of the summer...Colin seems to enjoy having his photo taken, eh???? The third photo clearly shows that Colin needs dance lessons! The fourth one is Colin in a box of styrafoam bean-bag beads. It was a hot day and we pretended it was snow!

Our 4th of July (England)

We went to a local park for a picnic, as it was a gorgeous day and Colin got to play in the pool there and we watched the local fire brigade doing some hose practice! We had a water shortage this summer so they had to use the ponds and lakes so they could recycle the water. Fun to watch, almost as good as fireworks (no, not really).
